Are you looking for a qualified tutor?
Nanny Traveler provides one-on-one tutoring placement for both children and adults. We offer academic tutors for the following subjects: reading, writing, math, science, and foreign languages. We also offer tutors that specialize in test preparations (ERB, SSAT, ISEE, SAT, ACT, GRE). Many of our tutors are experienced teachers who hold baccalaureate and master’s degrees, bringing to the table specialized areas of expertise. They are extremely efficient and work with each student on an individual basis to determine both strengths and weaknesses. After an initial consultation, a personalized curriculum will be developed to help address the specific needs of the individual. Time, date, session length, and rates will be determined by tutor and will be based upon individual needs. All clients will be responsible for paying Nanny Traveler a referral fee of $100 (plus background checking & administrative fees) upon placement.

Smart Art Classes and Playgroups

Artful Cooking Anyone?

Smart Art is a home-based cultural enrichment program that combines art, music, or dance with an age-appropriate curriculum in a non-threatening informal setting. The classes are taught by experienced child educators who also have a specialty in one or more of the arts. We offer an array of different classes and are open to any suggestions from interested parents or students. Some of our classes include Spanish/dance, French/music, science/art, and cooking/art. Smart Art classes are a great way to get friends and family together. They are perfect for preschool and elementary students who are looking to continue their education in both a relaxed and fun environment. Our only requirements are 1) four-person minimum per class and 2) all children enrolled in a class must be of similar age. For your convenience, all supplies and materials will be provided by the teacher on a weekly basis. A syllabus will be handed out on the first day of class that will discuss the program in detail. The last day of class will be designated as Presentation Day. We encourage all parents to attend! All parents are required to sign a liability waiver. Rates begin at $35 per child/per class.

Are you looking for a fun afternoon activity?
Our in-home playgroups are great for children of all ages. We offer private playgroups where children meet their friends on a regular basis. We assign a teacher to the playgroup based on the likes & dislikes of your children. The teacher will come to your home or a designated location and organize age-appropriate activities.
Playgroups help build strong friendships in a nurturing and fun environment. Several studies show that playgroups significantly help children develop social skills, gain independence, and build self-confidence. What are you waiting for? Call us today! Recreational Instructors

Are you looking for a private instructor for yourself or your child?
We offer private instructors whose one-on-one assistance can help your child learn a new sport. We have instructors that are licensed and/or certified in the following fields: swimming, skiing, tennis, horseback riding, and modern/ballroom dance. For your convenience, we can also help you find a destination or traveling instructor. Time, date, session length, and rates will be determined by instructor and will be based upon individual needs. All clients will be responsible for paying Nanny Traveler a referral fee of $100 (plus background checking & administrative fees) upon placement.
